The Saskatchewan River Delta observatory is a freshwater delta research site focused on understanding how river regulation, flooding, climate change, and environmental change affect delta ecosystems and the communities that depend on them. Research is conducted in collaboration with the local community and includes monitoring water quality and aquatic conditions, while supporting broader studies of wetland ecology, aquatic food webs, environmental flows, and long-term ecological change.
